The foundation of our company was built on the specialized expertise of our founder, Stanley Zala. Before establishing Zala Machine Co., Stanley served as a master machinist at Davis-Standard, a global leader in high-performance plastic and rubber processing systems.
OEM-Level Insight: During his tenure at Davis-Standard, Stanley mastered the intricate nuances of extrusion equipment, from the critical tolerances of feed sections to the complex physics of melt flow.
A Legacy Passed Down: That foundational knowledge was meticulously passed down to his son, Martin Zala. Under Martin’s leadership, the shop has evolved into a high-tech facility, integrating advanced 5-axis milling while maintaining the old-world focus on precision and quality.
The Next Generation: This legacy of excellence continues with Gabriel Zala. Having been a constant presence in the shop since the age of 14, Gabriel represents the third generation of Zala machinists. His lifelong “hands-on” education ensures that the specialized tribal knowledge of polymer machining will be preserved and enhanced for decades to come.
Coming on the scene in 2002, we began the business with the sole focus to compete in the Large Machining Industry. Over the years we have expanded our Machine Shop Service to include specialties like Honing, GunDrill, Large CNC Machining, Grinding, and Fabricating. Our investment in advancement has led us to precision 5 Axis CNC Machining. On our brand new Mori Seiki NTX2000 we are capable of machining any and all difficult and complex precision parts. Parts that require a high tolerance and no errors.
We have also expanded our service area, these days we make deliveries to all of the United States, Canada and Mexico.With each passing year we have been very aggressive in expanding our capabilities. Our goal is to provide all of the necessary Machine Shop services under one roof. We have parts shipped in and out on a daily basis and offer local pickup and drop off.
